Help. What am I looking at here?
Help. What am I looking at here?
This is my(pending ex-)Wife's 2005 MCC, some
knucklehead backed into her with a trailer. Nitwit.
Pics here: http://s116.photobucket.com/albums/o26/ccyodr/
Wondering if anyone has a recommendation or history with a repair like this?
Repairable?
Paintless? I'm guessing not, looks cracked.
The sensor is still operational , just detects a bit further to the right is all.
Any input welcome,
Thanks.

to make it look good your looking at a new bumper cover. i have a near flawless PS bumper sitting in my house that i would let go for really cheap. but it would have to be sanded and repainted to meet your needs.
may be better off buying a pre-primered one. that wil run you about 350 as i was quoted from the body shop.

That would make it look good.....MAYBE
It looks to me like the metal bumper under the cover is dented AND bulged. It looks like the backup sensor may have been smashed as well.
I hope the person who did it is still in the picture and pays up! A trip to the body shop is probably in your future.
Big Bummer! I hope the repair process is fast and painless.

from my recent experience, i had a ding similiar to yours in my front bumper, and my upper grill was cracked. estimate came back at 1500 dollars. no damage under the cover, and no parkign sensors
