Anyone interested in getting together at an auto-x event in the area? There is another one coming up around april 22.

Would be good to see a few people out, maybe some that havent autocrossed before, etc. I know the DC area scca is always packed to hell and they have a crazy pre registration you have to go through (seriously dc wtf-mates where are the walk-ons) but i am sure we could work something out.

last i checked they had close to 200 or 300 registrants, which will make for a long day and few runs, but fun none-the-less.

I am a member of the BMWCCA, which hosts alot of autocrosses throughout the season and welcomes MINIs. I like their format better, as there usually aren't quite as many cars. As soon as my R56 MINI is broken in, I plan on going to a few driving events.

 

sounds good. I am open to every club available where we can have fun. I dont typically race for points, only the days achievements. I have neither the time, money, or resouces to take a hobby and try to compete with the sponsored guys.

April 22 is hopefully going to be a MINIs by the Bay run. I am still awaiting hearing back from the restaruant about invading. but we have had many days that there were multiple events.

Hmm, by the bay...that sounds kind of closer to me but its before my court date :(.
