[Sat. July 28] Cooper Vineyards Run

RCM (River City MINIs) and HRMINI (Hampton Roads Club MINI) is once again doing a run to Cooper Vineyards and would like to see if anyone is interested in doing this. There is not much information as of yet, but I will pass in along as I get it.

Hey, remember now, it's a driving event, too!

I went the past two times, it's a lot of fun! And the Cooper Vineyards put out a very nice welcome. In the past, there has been local cheese vendors, local tchotchke vendors, a band, etc....

This is what Wagnbat did last year. This is what RCM will be doing again this year:

From the Waffle House in Dumfries, VA right off of I-95, exit 152b. We'll head down 95 from Waffle House to Bruster's.

Waffle House to Bruster's is 90 minutes with no traffic at legal speeds.

To get to Bruster's at 9:30, we need to leave by 8. So I will be there about 7am. Can't go to waffle house and not have a waffle, eh? So for those of you not eating, I/we are departing Waffle House promptly at 8am.

So without the confusing map/hyperlinks:
8pm depart waffle house, arrive RCM rendevous point at 9:30, proceed to Cooper Vineyards, arrive ~ 10:30-11am. Depart time is whenever you get bored.

And don't forget to pre-register on the Cooper Vineyards website for $10 per person, or it's $15 at the door.

I've done it twice actually. Awesome time, both times.

Anyone wanna pick up 2 bottles of Sweet Louisa and mail them to me? Will pay of course.

Just checked it and is working fine on my end. Try it a few times, I think their server may be slightly buggie.

Hey, Mr. Bat, if you can find out if it's legal to send wine over via FPO/APO or some other means, I'd be willing to send some out to yun's! PM me and let me know!

I'll check on the FPO/APO thing. If not, I'll still have a regular mailing address as well. I should close on my house by the end of this week.

How do you guys get from 95 to Cooper? We live in Southern MD and cross the 301 bridge, 218 (Woo-woo) to Fredericksburg and then catch 208, 33, and 522 to the winery.
