I put a list of about 35 tags not taken in VA as of two weeks ago.
Mine took about a week to show up.

Four to eight weeks! Preposterous!

Yeah, ours took 3 and a half months to arrive. Then again, there was a prison riot going on that required the MVA to get a contract with a different prison.
Even normally, they say it's a 6 week process.

Nice Brian...Since we are keeping our Police tags, I ordered an Euro plate with SOULFIRE on it. That will be our personalized plate!

I was going to be a Sheriff in Seminole County, FL when the 4 hurricanes hit us. In a case of emergency, which we were in because of the hurricanes, MiniNurse had to stay @ the hospital and If I were a Sheriff, I to, would have to be out and about. I started to think that if we had kids, who would watch them, since we don't have any family in FL, and whom could I trust with them. The answer was a friend of mine 2.5 hours away. That won't work. After some talking and decisions, we decided to start travelling again and I would see about being a cop somewhere else. Long story somewhat short, the more north we went, from FL, the more police depts. wanted military experience. I have none, so no coppie for me.
Plus we have Conceal Weapon Permits for FL and we can carry in VA.

And they really are Police Athletic League supporter tags....
But you can't see that part. Just the police part. Just one of the 50 or so extra tags you can get in FL. no point in getting personalized tags, these have helped

Has anyone thought about club tags, I understand you only need 25 members to have your own tags
