OK, if the ICE was hard, it is possible to have done damage to the undercarriage. Ice can be hard as a rock. I would look under it to see if all is OK

Yeah. When I take SF in next week, I will be sure to ask them to take a look. Thanks for the advice.

As for my baby, 5 guys and a Bobcat got him out! GEESH, we were out there for a WHILE. But MINI roadside assisstance was 'on their way' to help, but we got it out first.
WHEW!! See you all tonight at dinner.

I had this combo: ice | snow | ice

It took me FOUR HOURS yesterday to clear the driveway (which isn't that big actually). About five inches of snow encapsulated in ice = no fun. I've now got a pile of snow about three feet high down the side of my driveway. It's going to be there until May I think.

The sheet of ice on my roof slid off (helped by my errant push ) - I now need a new roof stripe. <sigh>

I hope you don't need more than a new roof stripe, PGT... like a PC Buffer to get out the scratches and swirls from that sheet of ice.

Oh, and speaking of damage to the undercarriage, I can't even park in my own garage because my neighbor with whom I share a driveway didn't get his end cleared and now the ruts are 8 inches deep and the peaks are frozen. I'm afraid I'll do damage if I continue to drive over them. It's a week or so until warmer weather is due in... just friggin lovely. :impatient

hope not, that's for sure. I passed no less than three cars on the way home....sitting on the shoulder, lights flashing with smashed windshields from careless drivers ahead of them who did not remove ice from their roof.

That's always been one of my pet peeves... see my post (#32) in:
