Rear Window Wiper

Anybody got a solution to the rear window wiper? or is it just me? My rear window wiper gets the outer edge of the window but leaves the major portion unclean.

I'm not sure if there is an angle adjustment on the arm but found mine was always a poor cleaner.

You might try cleaning it with some Aerospace 303. It helps the blade maintain some flexibility.

I've been amazed at the power of these wipers. Here we get snow and the motor just powers it off the back window!

I also only run mine 1/3 of the time as the front. I wait until a stop and let it make a few swipes rather than constantly letting it go on automatic.

The only other thing might be a bad install job or a bent arm.

Good luck.

The rear wiper on both my MINIs performs poorly - perhaps the BMW/MINI blade is of poor quality.

Mine used to be quite bad on my 03 MC. Then the motor failed, so they replaced the entire unit with whatever is on the more current MINIs. It works much better!
