Local Haunts

Are there any local haunts where DCMM members might hang out regularly so that members can just bump into other members without having to schedule an official event?

Union Jacks in Bethesda MD is a kind of relative popular hang out among some DCMMers.

not really cuz we're all so spread out, geographically.

Do I hear a call for a UJ's night?

Most of us are rather spread about, like Katie said, but we can always just get together at anytime...mostly!

I love UJs... haven't been in quite a while. Count me in, if we do one!

Might want to check about the free pool/darts on Sundays thing though... the last time I looked at the UJs website, there was no mention of it.

It would be cool if there was a "local's" hangout somewhere near Annandale that we could meet up, but like Katie said, we're all so spread out, it's hard to do.

After a couple of times visit the Iron Bridge in Columbia, I like it more and more. Good place to hang-out though.
By the way, Panera's Bread on Dobbin Rd. is good for early Sunday morning hang-out as well.

In Rockville, I normally stop by at Starbuck's in Winter Green plaza in the morning, hang-out for a little bit before I go to work.

In Roslyn, I will be at Cafe' Asia. Good crowd, lively, fun.

yea, geographically spread out. i usually don't leave the area between catonsville and columbia unless planned. although i won't have any problems driving the greater distances now since my MINI isn't my daily driver now.

OT. this is not a hang-out place but a good restaurant.

Tonight I was working in Germantown area and had a feeling of having Japanese food for dinner. I remember my friend told me a while ago about this cozy Japanese restaurant names Yu-Ra-Ku, so I went there. I didn't make reservation so, for Friday night, it's kindly of a long wait. But, wow......, food is exellent, service is great, highly recommend.
They do have lunch buffet from Monday - Saturday. It's really worth a try.
Anyone is interested in going there during week day for their lunch buffet, PM me. I'm more than happy to keep you company.

Another good hang out is Krut's place... CTD is good to play with and Krut may not get broken in to if DCMMers hang out at his place even if he is not there.... Oh Yeah... Krut makes a good flat white (Coffee) better than going to a local Expensivebucks
