Beautiful picture,....

Dan, since there are quite a lot of us who are interested in photography, we should arrange a MINI Photo Trip, one day.

This sounds great.

Can someone set up date?

I don't have a shot gun, do they have one for rent?

Do they have piston range in their facility as well?

You have to bring your own shotgun, but I have a couple of spares. Nothing fancy, but they go bang and the lead goes out the right end.
They are strictly shotguns. No rifles, no handguns.
It's kinda bizarre; sometimes if you shoot at night, deer will be standing out in the fields as you shoot and they aren't even fazed by the reports.
There is an indoor range around the Timonium area called Century Arms.

Travel, reading, jigsaw puzzles, astronomy. However since I'm studying part-time in graduate school (MS in CS) while working full-time, that doesn't leave me much time for hobbies.

Fixing up the Cruiser so I can drive around with no top, no doors, windshield down. Offroading it when I get the chance. Plus playing bass and guitar, and trying to steal the keys to the wife's MCSc every once in a while.

i guess photography and videography cant be hobbies if they bring in the bacon... (mmm, bacon...)
Rock climb- bouldering and sport
Yoga - i can finally touch my toes : )
Sessioning- Irish and old time - Fiddle, mando, 4string banjo, button accordion...
If anyones into Irish music we have a session at Ofaolains in sterling (near MoS) on sunday evenings! good food too!
Also do some Irish dancing (not the riverdance kind- my sister does that, i do the social dancing- ceili)
biking a bit, and some golf...

pre busted knees- i used to run, play soccer (indoor and out), softball, and anything else that looked fun...

Its hard to do everything these days but i fill my calender with as much as i can... : )

Don't have much time for hobbies, but I play drums and mountain bike every now and then. The kids take up most of my time and energy.

I'll talk to the manager on Sunday. The hunters come out to practice in the fall so it may get crowded. It's usually "First Come-First Shoot" but if we have enough interested folks, maybe they can reserve a field for us. Can't hurt to ask.

This sounds like a cool idea. If we have enough people interested, may be we should start a new thread about this.

Wolf, set the date.

I'm in, but give me 3 months for some intense work-out.

I haven't got enough exercise lately, and you have to really be in good shape to be able to do paintball.

I'm a gamer at heart, always have been, so I definitely spend a lot of time on my Wii and Xbox 360.

But my main two hobbies, which I can never seem to do both at once, are reef keeping and caring for poison dart frogs.

Here's my current reef:

^^That pic is a few months old though

And here was my last vivarium, which I just tore down about 1.5 months ago.

And its inhabitants:

A DCMM paintball match! I'm SO there!!! Wow, seems I have a lot in common with a lot of you guys. Not that that's completely surprising!

Martial arts - TKD/MMA, gumdo/kendo, hapkido (these take up the bulk of my free time)

Textile arts - knitting, sewing, embroidery, historical recreations

Leisure arts - reading, watching cheesy asian horror/action movies or gloomy Victorian dramas

SCA - Society for Creative Anachronism, though mostly inactive I still consider myself a member. I've been involved in the arts & sciences side of it, rapier fighting, heavy weapons fighting, and archery.

Gaming!!! Mostly online MMO's but some PC games. Soon to add a Wii to the list as soon as I can get my hands on one. The samurai game shall be mine. *nod*

I was impressed by the hobbies you all have, I would soooooo love to race motorcycles, yes indeed I would! I've been such a closet wanna-be racer since I was in my early 20's. I'm thinking of getting a bike next spring.

I shoot trap at the local gun clubs and also ATA events. I build and fly R/C planes and helicopters. I also fly gliders, single engine and multi-engine planes, and of course .... my favorite ..... HELICOPTERS! I once owned a 1973 Hughes 500C jet helicopter.

Lately I have been geocaching with the wife, as this is her favorite hobby. Hendrix is "The Cachemobile".

Practice range

I'm thinking about go to the shooting range for practicing sometimes next week (evening on either Tue, Wed or Thu), at On Target Shooting Range, Severn, Md.

I'm wondering if anyone would be interested to join?
