All Sports Grand Prix member, anyone?

Is there anyone a member at the place or is their regular.
How good the place is?
DCMM and MoS went there last year, how was it turn out?
I'm interested in joining the place, anyone interesting in go-kart?
http://www.allsportsgp.com/thetrack.htm
By the way, they do organize league. How about DCMM karting league. That might be interesting.

MoS's outing that we had there was a lot of fun!

Since you are an insider, I'm wondering if All Sports can arrange a league for DCMM?

We can definitely do that.

What day/time would you want to have the league?
Would you be the one running the league?
How many people would you expect to come?

I'd be all over this if I lived in Virginia, versus the wrong side of the beltway. :(

I went to the event last year and had a blast.

Rt 50 - New York ave. - 395 - GW Pky - 66 - Dulles toll - 28 and have fun!

It should be fun if we could do it quarterly or so.
Or we can arrange a friendly match between DCMM and other MINI chapters.

One point to keep in mind is the cost. Most of us were spoiled by MINI of Sterling last year because they subsidised it. Thanks to them, we only had to pay $20 each to drive in the Grand Prix-style event. The usual cost is a lot higher, and it could be a rude awakening for anyone expecting to show up and pay only $20 again (without more subsidy).

If cost is the issue, instead of quarterly, we could change to annually...

Any special for DCMM's members, AgentRabbit?

I'll ask Chuck (Mini of Sterling) if he plans on arranging another event here. Maybe they can be involved in the league and help costs? Who knows? I'll go visit him on Tuesday and ask.

Also... if you are interested... there is a BMW league currently running on Tuesday nights and Sunday mornings. You could join that if you wanted... contact Brian Hair at OGracing if you are interested. The cost is $70 per league date.

Ah..ha, cool.
May be we could gather 5 or 6 of our MINI drivers and join the BMW league as a guest for once.
Show them how good the MINI drivers are.
Not just car, its also driver.

The Tuesday evenings haven't been well attended so it's more of a practice session.
It is also open to walk-ups. Sunday is the league night.
I'm sure anyone would be welcomed.
Brian's email is brian @ ogracing.com.

Talk to Mike Arata too... he was the one at MoS that organized the previous DCMM events, not Chuck. Chuck might have organized ones for MoT when he used to be there though.

All-Sport is defiantely the best place in the area, its pricey but a lot of fun. I've been thinking about joining the BMW league since they just started their season

I'll talk to them both. I've known Chuck for a long time... I used to work for him at MoT. And...Mike Arata helped me when I was buying my car.

AgentRabbit, please make this happen. Tuesday, February 13.
Should we put this into the event calendar?
