Not a worry. :-) I'm at work now.. Nothing has moved in - looks like the decorators are behind schedule. They're aiming to have all the autos set, with lights aimed and focused by Monday. I'm always amazed at how they pull it off.

R56's are definitely here - just sat in the Sparkly Silver with English Leather - good news is that I finally fit and I'm comfy. Bad news hate the auto AC controls.

Paris show, London show, Munich, Berlin ~ I'm on it - I'll be SURE to post pics once I find out when they are for fall 08!

 

Maybe you should have waited putting in your order until you got a better look. I mean you did know they were coming to the DC Auto Show. So what better place to play around with them.

 

do you know if any of them are powered (like with an AC cable...so that people can futz with the radios and whatnot)? I was going to bring an MP3/WMA cd to try playing in the '07 head unit.

Wednesday: Katie and Paul. We'll take the Metro in as early as Paul's schedule allows. We can always meet a group there later if we arrive early.

 

I'm in for Wed night as well - i get off at 6pm (but this semms like a good enough reason to get off earlier )and i'm a walk away from the Conv Center.

 

Wednesday, I'll probably hop on the metro at king street between 4 and 4:30pm. I hope to get to the convention center no later than 5.

 

I have a memorial service on Wed with relatives coming in town.... I'm hoping that I can make it on Wed night.

If not, then I may not be able to get there until the weekend.

Did anyone else notice that MINI is conspicuously absent from the floorplan map that was in the Post on Sunday and that appears on the show's website? Is this just an oversight or is MINI skipping this show? MINI is listed in the list of exhibitors but I just don't see them on the floorplan. I assume they will be over by BMW somewhere.

 

It's probably one of the unlabelled ones in the "Halls A&C" floorplan, near the BMW section. I'm guessing it's the small one next to Mitsubishi.

They are definitely there this year, as proven by Krut's findings and photos (since he works at the convention center). They are also listed on the "Exhibitors" page of the auto show website.

Last year they were on the lower level (A & C), so I would expect the same this year. 2 years ago though, I think they were on the top level.

 

MINI is adjacent to BMW in Hall C. I'll be going at 5 PM tomorrow after work. I really like the black leatherette that looks like black/grey leatherette on the website - kinda wishing I'd gotten it. Oh well (as my car gets loaded on the Don Juan today).....

 

Krut - where should we meet you if our name was on the list of Comp Tix? I can be there at 5pm as well.
