Where to get Run Flats?

I have something wrong with my passenger front Run-Flat, air is leaking from the sidewall :(. What places can handle them and will be able to get me a new tire asap?

If there is a puncture on the actual sidewall, no luck in patching that, it can't be done. It may be a leaking bead and that can be fixed by getting the tire place to put sealant on the tire/wheel.

If you need to replace a tire, you need to replace 2 tires i.e; both front or both rear. It is not recommend to replace only one tire because you will end up having uneven wear on the opposing tire and have allignment issues and be off balance.

Also, go to Tire Rack and do a install location search.

How old is your Mini? I thought everything was covered (except road hazard, etc)on the Mini for four years! I know wear would not be covered, but a sidewall sounds like a manufacturing fault. You can find run-flats lots of places, but I have had fun looking at tirerack.com You might try there.

Ditto. Take it to a dealer first if you can (not Tate!!!). No harm in letting them check it out and possibly fixing it for free.

It sounds like the leaking at the bead problem with the run flats. I got the impression from someone else that the dealer might not fix it under warranty. I need to find out for sure if MoS will or will not. My RFs only have 3k miles. What's the milage on yours Jeremy?

I have 2 Goodyear RFs with 15k on them and one with 22k or so that I want to get rid of. I'll bring them if the location is south of DC and outside the beltway. No charge. I just want them out of the garage.

Ahh oh well the offer still stands for anyone else.

I also have two of the same tires but worn but in good shape could probably use for messing around on track days that i would throw in too.

Let me get back to you on the rim size. No charge for the tires. I enjoy a good run once in a while, just as long as I don't have to go inside the Beltway, either one.

if they are 16's id love to help you get them out of your basement then . Im north of the beltway, so we could both have a little motoring adventure and meet in the middle somewhere.

If you still have the tires and they are 17's - I would be very interested
