We'll be out of town. But, if anyone sees some spare parts laying around, grab 'em for me.... especially if it's a JCW part!!

Have a good time everyone!

We won't be able to make the breakfast, Morgan has a 9-10:30 lacrosse practice. There's just no way to make events.

And you didn't know that already? It's the closest MINI dealership to Alexandria. Did you just move here?

Keep in mind that it's almost all highway, so it moves fast. You can make it there in under 30 minutes without traffic (which there shouldn't be too much of before 9:30am Saturday morning).

Hello, we are coming from Columbia, MD...think Baltimore. Takes me no less than an hour. Now that's icky.

The 'salty bread' was brought last time, similar to a salt bagel, but it was long instead of round. Mmmmm, mmmm, mmmm, so very good. Plain or with cream cheese can't go wrong.

yup - around the DC area, 30 minutes away is 'close'. Most places I go are more like an hour away it seems.

I think I'm going to get things (bagels and spreads) from Panera, since its not far and on the way to Sterling anyway. Hope, you like it.

I'll look for that at Wegmans.

If people are shopping what about some pulp free OJ. I dont think I show up late to the breakfast's but there never seems to be any juice when I show up.

People who bought food for this breakfast make sure to come by and find me. (Easy to spot - bright red hair)

I think last time at MoS a group of us left at 1. Now when we left we all went out to lunch and I think we got home around 6. Every time is different.

By the way, I hope someone has given the British Pantry a heads-up that you'll all be (inevitably) heading over there sometime tomorrow!

Have fun! I'll think about all of you while I'm lounging around in shorts & a t-shirt down in FL!

There's a pantry run!?!?

Keen, more of an incentive to go, and I need more Yorkies! http://static.flickr.com/35/108589734_b8c4a4d863_m.jpg

And who's complaining about 30 miles? I'm coming from Bowie, and Katie (shes not making this one due to prepping for her party, but she's come in the past) comes from eastern Annapolis.

You act like a Mini meet isn't a good enough excuse to motor! Bad mini owner!

Yeah thats a good point, I am coming from southern Maryland. I have never been to MoS but according to mapquest it is 95.71 miles one way and 2 hours and 7 min. I think its an exellent excust to motor, heck any excuse is an excellent excuse to motor but at least with this one we get to hang out and see everyone and their MINI'S!!!!!

Exactly... and to think that some people complain about a 30-minute drive to get to MoS.

I'd like to come by to meet everyone, but not sure if it's appropriate given my still unresolved issues with MoS. I seem to be persona non grata there given the utter lack of service I receive.

Make sure you leave time to come to the British Pantry afterwards! It's half store, half petite British restaurant. Excellent food, and we take over the place. Last time I was there, I remember a customer whom was eating there had a classic mini parked out front too.

Did I mention Yorkies? Mmmmmm!!!!

Come on out. You'll be there for the club, not MoS. You likely won't even see any of the MoS service guys.

i have the whole day free tomorrow so i can join in all the fun! Although my new taillights are supposed to be coming by fedex tomorrow, so i guess i will have to wait to put them on :( i bought the black altezza taillights. I think they will look really nice on my MINI!

I'm really bummed that i'm missing this run - I'm in San Diego hanging with Mike and Donna. Please make sure you call the British Pantry today and make sure they know you're coming! While I'm sure they appreciate the business they don't like surprises!

Actually, this morning I spoke with Mike Creason, one of the new MINI SAs (the one that replaced David Rockwell). I had a question to ask him anyway... and during this discussion I asked if he'd be at the dealership tomorrow.

He said how he had really hoped to be there, that he wants to come to the breakfast and meet the members, etc... but unfortunately tomorrow his daughter has a championship game of some kind, so he has to be a good Dad and be there for that!

In any case, Mike sends his regards and apologies to the club, and he hopes to be able to attend the next MoS breakfast in March.

The intent was good, anyway. Mike's a good guy, I've been very pleased with his service so far - he has already made a HUGE difference in customer contact - he actually returns his calls!
