ahhhh noooooo...

Based on the pictures it looks more like the car got hit more than the car did the hitting. It's also looks like most of the pics are from a residential street area.

Hate to say it but at least the first scratch/ding is out of the way. Hope everything is okay and fixed ASAP. Material things can be fixed and replaced..lives cannot. Glad it wasn't anything worse then this.

It's never easy to see a good MINI down. Sorry to hear of the damage, glad it's not more serious. Please do tell the story!

Exiting a traffic circle with a cab to my left, two lanes. Tried to avoid the cab, hit the curb, bounced into the cab, and then back into the curb.

added two pics...

three wheels damaged, front alignment off, lights busted, bonnet dented, small dent on side panel.

not good, but could have been worse i suppose.
No time frame when it will be fixed..

And it had nothing to do with my driving ability, so you can stop laughing at me now.

Crap, Sally!!

I'm glad that you're ok, though. And as for Leonore, she can be healed! It doesn't look like the frame got bent or anything drastic like that, so the damage isn't too horrible. And of course, the main thing is you're fine (if a bit shaken up)!

(I do think it's funny though how you still had your camera out & taking artistic pics! I really like the tunnel one!)

yeah, Just cant stop thinking like an artist. Im already toying with the idea of using the photos and broken pieces as a mixed media art piece to "heal" from this experience.

WOW Sally, sorry to see that happen! It doesn't look too bad though and you're ok which is the most important part. I suspect it'll be a fairly quick fix and you'll be back motoring again soon!! OR, who knows, maybe you'll get an manual S loaner to fill the void

and don't worry, I haven't forgotten about us motoring on those roads near here sometime!!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
I am SO sorry that I was asleep when you called! Now I know why you did I am glad that you are ok. Jay told me about it and your conversation. I am so sorry! You should have heard my response when I got the TXT from Jay. I almost jumped out of my skin! But I am so glad that it wasn't worse. I of course, was imagining all sorts of things, but seeing the pictures, am reassured that you nor Lenore were hurt badly.
Did the Taxi even stop? What jerks! I'll talk to you tomorrow when I wake up. We can have some pizza healing!

Sorry to hear about the woes Sallykat... Hopefully everything gets patched up peachy keen soon.

I also second vote for aero kit, even if just for the front. If it's getting replaced anyway, theres almost no reason not to spend a couple more $$'s to upgrade.
