It not safe to dig through your pocket to get your cell phone just to see what time it is as your barreling down I-95 though.
It is just as safe as looking @ your roof to see the time or to look at your speedo. I don't know why you would be preaching "Safety". If I recall correctly, you posted something not very safe back in your earlier days.
