Well your parental unit is older than mine and I am almost 31 ... gulp! I wish I could make it to your dinner but unless I hire a helicopter there is no way I can make it there by 7:00 p.m. Enjoy and tell Dad to loosen up. It could be worse, we could be worshipping the devil instead of worshipping MINIs

Yep!!! although its still hard to get away for a longer lunch.. maybe we can meet sometime afterwards... I know of a place called Union Jacks that has some really good cheesesticks!!!

I agree that Sherill is super cool! But her dedication to the MINI lifestyle over getting her art stuff done is the 'weirdness' that us MINI people have, so since she was the one with the cake (which, again, was kickass) I used her name. I have nothing against Sherill, I have nothing against any of you all (except maybe that all your MINIs are 10x more tricked out than mine, but that will come with time.) Sherill, come to the dinner pah-leese! <----He even offers you a peice pipe

 

It is cool! I did not take offense I was more confused. James and I are planning on coming though I am sure we will be late.

I do love my mini and I do love the group, but what you took for dedication was just a mix of procrastination and doing something nice for my friends. The cake was something I would have done for friends outside of the mini circle too. (though probably decorated it differently)

I got the work done for the show and it looks good (I have pics when I take them off my camera) There was a nice opening reception and a great response.

Damn.. I live like a minute and 30 secs away from there,, (that's if I get out of my drive way, get on the Old Annapolis and speed like crazy without being stopped by traffic lights,..

I am going to HM monday and letting them know, so b4 than would be nice.

 

We have a friend coming up to vist that weekend so if we do show up it will be 5 of us. There's some law that says we're suppose to feed the kids so we'll have them with us. I'll let you know by Monday morning. If someone has objections to us bringing a non-mini owner or our kids, which some of you have met, please say so and then we won't even worry about it.

I may be bringing my brother...not sure what day he is going to make it through our area on his way through town. May just want to add one more to the list, just in case. I should know more next week as it gets closer. Oh, and he's non-MINI...not anti-MINI, he just doesn't know yet who the group we are going to be eating with is....heeheehee I'm sure he will get a kick out of all the MINIs!

 

That is fine with me, you just have to buy the first round.

 

Tomorrow night, after Philly, we are going to go to Hunan Manor to eat and speak with Eddie. I am going to tell him 25-30....Hopefully we can get that many in! I don't think it will be a problem though!

 

Ok, didn't realize that we would be in Philly all day long, so seeing as how I just got home, we didn't stop at Hunan Manor tonight. So Jay and I will call tomorrow to make the reservations.
