That's one cool looking car chows4us. Why RIP? Gone?

I'm with you, Clark! The people around here (present company excluded--all of you) are like in that movie, Joe versus the Volcano? Very rigid, drab, cookie cutterish afraid to stand out. Now NYC! THAT's a city! Passion and "joi de vivre!" There's commaraderie in being different.

And, in response to your last statement, but AT LEAST you drive a MINI! That says something about you...

Now THAT's a MINI!!! I was waiting for you or MININurse to pop up, Jay! I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE what y'all have done with it.

Hey, remember that magazine we were looking at with the Laser Blue on the cover, was that MC2? And can I purchase it in a book store or do I have to subscribe?

From building/ordering to receiving, what's the wait time nowadays, Misty? (Back in 2003 it was around 10 months, although I luckily got it in less than half that time.)

Well, you know you've got a point there, whovous...

But what about the Rolling Stones , they're British and decidedly NOT understated, and The Beatles for that matter, and Fergie, Fergie is definitely NOT understated, although she's had people of the Royal-nature try to make her so, and Sir Elton John, now THERE's a definitely NOT understated dude!

WHAT, pray tell, brought you to the DC area, dear Clark?

(I also agree with you about the DCMM group--this has been a nice forum with a great group of enthusiasts. It almost makes me sad that I hadn't participated sooner. )

Y'ALL ROCK!

That is something that I'm not familiar with, Edge. I'm guessing that means to keep at the top of the posts?

He sold it recently, and bought a Porsche Cayman to replace it. See this thread.

"Stickying" a thread forces it to remain at the top of the list of threads, yes.

i haven't like putting stickers on my cars since i was 18. i apperciate the natural lines of the car without stickers. cars look so much smoother to me without anything on it.

here is a pic of my gti and my passat that im trading up for the mini.

Hey VWzealot - welcome to NAM & DCMM...

I had to delete your picture because it was far too large and taking up too much of the screen. Can you please edit your post again and link to a smaller version of the pic?

EDIT: In your post below - perfect sizing!
