Very nice. I like it. I have to think a little harder so I'm not obviously ripping off anyone.
remember, Copying is the art of flattery or something like that! I really don't think anyone will have a problem if you get stripes like theirs, or a graphic. But like I said, the possibilities are endless. Mike (AC) can put almost anything on that little baby of yours!
We ordered our new 2006 MCS with the Silver bonnet stripe to match the top and mirrors. We also ordered the Webspokes to add a bit of sportiness. I guess that is about it.
Our MINI is at the NY Distribution Center and hopefully we will see it in the next few days.
But we are conservative! LOL I totally love this group!
I don't think anyone is saying that DCMM member's MINIs are conservative, its more in reference to all the MINI owners around DC that just use their MINI as a commuter car ... Its just such a waste of a great car! I bought my MINI in Princeton, NJ and at the local NJTransit train station there were always a ton of MINIs in the parking lot. I bet most of them are just used for the daily commute as the Princeton area strikes me as pretty much dead when it comes to MINI enthusiasts.
But I've been very impressed with DCMM so far, it seems like this is one of the most active clubs in the country
Yup, plain is open to interpretation. Mine is 'plain' on the outside as in no graphics 'cept stripes. But have the full aero kit and you don't see too many converts with that. Add in some aftermarket but 'plain' or 'clean/simple & very open' as I like em wheels and wider rubber and it's a look I like. Then of course if you walk up and look inside it gets a little nuts.
My 'restraint' on the outside is due to having and trying to balance a very busy interior.
And as far as copying mentioned in a earlier post, remember that stealing one persons work is plagiarism, stealing many peoples work is research.
