Good question...or do we have to pay 15 dollars for the breakfast to get a ticket for the parade

The breakfast is not mandatory. You do not need a ticket to enter the parade. You do need to be registered and on the RSVP list. Cars that just show up on the day won't be able to participate. This is a planned in advance kind of thing.

You do need a ticket to enter the breakfast, as the restaurant is not taking anyone not associated with this parade on that morning. So, you cannot just show up at the restaurant on that morning and eat if you have not paid and are not on the RSVP list.

Sorry if it was not clear.

Am I on the RSVP list? If not, where is it, and how do I get my name on it

Are we throwing candy at this shin-dig? What about decorating the cars? Italian flags or American flags?

personal experience from my 1st Parade:
Children (and adult) might throw candy back to you and to ... your MINI

Since this will be my first Italian Parade (our license plates are perfect for this event) I need to think how to decorate the "Little Ones" .. Sallykat any suggestions???

We're in for both the parade and the breakfast -- 2 adults and one child. It'd be a shame not to participate in an event so close to home we could walk. In fact we likely will walk to breakfast rather than finding parking in Little Italy. I'm sending my money shortly.

Not that I'm being picky, just thought I'd correct how you have me listed on the RSVP list. I didn't think that the B was that close to the K on the keyboard.

Sally, you are more than welcome to ride with me in the parade if you can meet me up there. I am driving up with my Grandpa and Mom but they don't want to be in the parade so while they are sight seeing I will do the parade. I am not having breakfast either so it would work out.

Parade rules say we cannot throw anything from the cars into the crowd. Liability risk. Decorating is fine. They tell me Italian would probably be a good choice.

Please note that RSVP's for this event are now CLOSED. The organizers need the head count a month in advance. If you would like to be put on a waiting list in case someone has to drop out, please send me a PM.

Thanks

Hey Jen,
I just got an email from paypal saying that my payment for the breakfast (sent friday) is still unclaimed. The email said...
Two days ago you sent a payment to membership@dcmetrominis.org. This payment is still unclaimed. Often, unclaimed payments are a result of a payment being sent to a misspelled or otherwise incorrect email address. Please double-check to make sure you sent your payment to the intended recipient's correct email address.

One common cause of unclaimed payments is that the intended recipient has two duplicate email addresses, but only one version of it has been registered to their PayPal account. The four most common examples of this are: recipient@webtv.com & recipient@webtv.net; recipient@msn.com & recipient@email.msn.com; recipient@earthlink.com & recipient@earthlink.net; and recipient@att.com & recipient@att.worldnet.net. So if your recipient has an @webtv, @msn, @earthlink, or @att email address, please verify that you have sent it to the version of this address which is attached to their PayPal account.

If you did not intend to send a payment to membership@dcmetrominis.org, it is easy to cancel the transaction:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Go to the "History" subtab of the "My Account" tab and find this transaction (with a status of "Unclaimed").
3. Press the "Cancel" button in the "Action" column.
4. On the confirmation page, press the "Cancel Payment" button to confirm. Your payment will be cancelled and the funds returned to your PayPal account.

If you intended to send a payment to someone who is not yet a member of PayPal, you can forward them the below reminder message, which explains how to sign up for a PayPal account and accept your payment.

Sincerely,
PayPal Operations

Please do not reply to this email. This mailbox is not monitored and you will not receive a response. For assistance, log in to your PayPal account and click the Help link located in the top right corner of any PayPal page.
Am I in the for the breakfast? Or no?

I botched the address. Needs to go to dues@dcmetrominis.org. Old address we used to use and I forgot. Will send PM to those who replied to ask them to send again. And sorry.
