I sold my ancient Land Rover for a cheaper hobby, and figured I pick up shooting again. The only place I can find to shoot a rifle locally is at NRA HQ (there are some indoor 25 yard ranges in/near Woodbridge but I want to shoot rifles at some meaningful distance).

Does anyone know of any other ranges suitable for a long gun? Or in the alternative, anyone have some farm land

It's a hike, but Clark Brothers Gun Shop in betweeen Warrenton and Culpepper on 28 is pretty good. I know they go to 100 yds. It is free except they require you to purchase the ammo from them.

 

Thanks, I might have to check that out (although there is probably no way they'll have the ammo I need ). I am actually out that way (ish) in Manassas/Woodbridge/
