OMG, now I've really done it!

wow...I cant believe I really did this....

Call me crazy or congratulate me....I just placed an order for a new Mia MINI during the Towson breakfast.

Im SO excited!!!! The new improved Mia2 will be an AB/AB JCW MCS. Other options are still being determined due to the fact that Im still unsure of what my final financial situation will be at time of delivery.

I may not know how to drive stick well, but Im gonna learn now!!!

(anyone want to volunteer to give me a few more stick shift lessons?)

Join us in the Astro Black Registry.

Astro Black Monotone can get a bit hot in the interior during the summer!

Congratulations Sally

Isn't your car new anyway? Couldn't wait until next summer and get the Turbo JCW

Thats cool Sally. ... Good for you. Now I'll have to find the black JCW in the Target parking lot next time we are over there!

One question. Is Towson taking your car in trade. If so, did they give you close to KBB (I dont care about the numbers, just if they gave a fair trade). If not, you selling on your own?

That's AWESOME, Sally. Congratulations! Welcome to Team Craptastic.

I guess this means that the JB Mia won't be getting a sway bar now?

yes Mia MINI is an 05, but Mia2 is the car I would have ordered if I could have afforded it then. Minus the factory installed JCW..I added that because I can now.

I didnt want an 07, not a fan of the new exterior styling. Plus I wanted the bonnet scope to actually have a function.

You may have to look for Mia2 somewhere else. My current employer is not working out very well lately.

I havent looked into the trade in yet, may sell Mia MINI elsewhere if I get a better deal.

Thanks. No, Mia MINI will not be getting the sway bar.. in fact I will have to take a lot of stuff out of her and transfer it to the new one.

I want to thank Edge, Katie, and Mark M for being willing to give me lessons in stick shift driving. Other than still needing some practice with hill starts, I think Im ready.

You're very welcome... I knew you'd "get it" after more practice... and having a variety of instructors was probably the best way, everybody has a different teaching style.

Id be happy to have some help "stripping Mia" (comment from the MoT breakfast) once my delivery date gets closer. Im gonna try to get some things out here and there, but I may need some help with the removal of the parcel shelf, aux imput, and the AUC. I cant seem to find my install sheets on them. If anyone has info that they can photocopy for me, Id appreciate it.

As far as wheels go, I went with the S-heavies with all season runflats...They will get me through the winter til Im ready to get some aftermarket wheels with performance tires for the dragon....looking at two different types. I also thought it would be cool to get the two piece web spokes...take the pieces apart.. and have the web part powdercoated black....but that a bit more money than Im ready to even think about right now.

And the comment from the MoT breakfast about "checking out her specs" was in reference to checking out Mia2's specs I have the build sheet in my purse at all times, so you can check out the specs anytime.

I AM SO EXCITED!!!!

An AUX input is one of those things you should be able to do yourself with absolutely no problems. It tooke me about 3 minutes to get mine installed. But then I got a Euro Shelf and moved it which didn't take too long either. Only thing that bugs me about it is that the cord on the cable is longer than it really needs to be so you're going to have a bundle of wire tucked away somewhere. Although not nearly as much wire tucked away as sagworks have tucked under her dash.
