UPDATE: August 13, 2006. Orders are closed for the moment. We have placed the first order for everything ordered up to Friday, August 11. We will be offering other "special edition" tees as time goes on. Maybe something for Halloween or Christmas.

I assume the T-shirts that come in the membership package are white... Any thought of providing a choice?

Also, we are ready to join DCMM when we return from vacation but do not subscribe to PayPal. Hopefully our new MINI will arrive in early September.

 

Giving a choice would be logistically for the person putting together the packets very hard. We would have to keep sufficient stock of both colors in all sizes to give people the choice. It would also be a greater expense to the club to print and stock both colors.

We currently have enough stock of the white shirts to last for quite some times. So we will not be changing the shirt that comes with the packet right now. If there is overwhelming feedback that people perfer black to white, we can change it when we run out of the current stock (probably in October).

There will be very soon on www.dcmetrominis.org a form that can be printed and sent with a check payment. We had it up but took it down last week because one person said they could not use it. Since then, I have gotten several in the mail, so it must have worked for some people. Krut is working on updating this to ensure it works.

Bout time. I've been asking about this since I sent my membership package in the first time, and was always told no.

You do not need to have a paypal account to send money to paypal merchants or vendors. You do need one to recieve money.

When you add the shirts to your cart, right above the paypal log in it says "click here if you do not have an account", and you can order with a standard online form just as if you were buying from any other online merchant directly.

Ok...I have another question. I was looking around on the DCMM site, and I can't see a picture anywhere of what the shirts look like. Are they simply the club logo on a shirt?

 

It is the DCMM logo on the back and front. It should be on the site, I saw it.
