Please PM or e mail me your full name and information. Every new member within about 5 weeks of joining should get a packet with goodies and a t shirt. I need to look up your information. Thanks and sorry if we have missed you somehow.

There is still a Cafe Press storefront. We hope to also let people order stuff all the time through the web site. These particular tees are a special order right now. If there is huge demand, we may start keeping a stock and offer them regularly. Did not want to commit a lot of DCMM money to that right now when we do not know the demand.

Any suggestions for other DCMM items you would like to see available are welcome!

I want a DCMM Magnetic Grille Badge!!! I could get with Tod of Todsmods myself but I think it would be best if a member of the board would suggest howto do this.

I might be one of the few that jumped on the bandwagon for grill badges but I love them!

Hey Jen,

I PM you my information. I was thinking with the fall coming, maybe we can have a long-sleeve T-shirts with the DCMM coming down the sleeve arm. Maybe you can have a fall color like beige, orange or burgandy. Excuse me, I've been looking at too much "Project Runway" lately with my young daughters.

I too have the magnetic grill badges now. A DCMM magnetic grill badge would be pretty cool.

A long sleeve would also be good for track days. As you aren't supposed to wear short-sleeve shirts. Not sure of the reasoning for that one.

Also, maybe we can have a Fall of '06 logo design (not to override the DCMM logo) which represents something memorable for "06 on the front or the back with the DCMM logo on the opposite side. This could be a collector's item for DCMM members.

I also like the idea of coming up with a new design for a short shirt run. Can do pre-orders just like this and see if there is enough interest in to print.

Right now there are 19 shirt orders (including the cash order) only 6 more to go!

I'm always interested in orange shirts, but long sleeves are not so good in Vegas.

Las Vegas: 94 (feels like 91)
DC Area (Greenbelt): 100 (feels like 104)

That's almost 10 degrees cooler, it must be long-sleeve weather.

With all of the other Mini clubs and organiziations out there, couldn't we also have a small item which can be traded with other organizations when one visits their area. I'm thinking more of something like a designed logo patch which can be a collector's item.

Alright, I guess that is all I have. I hope I have given some ideas/suggestions which maybe someone can add to.

Clings are what we typically trade with other (non-DCMM) club members but I'm open for suggestions on what we could create - I think magnetic badges are great - but not every one has (or wants) a grille badge holder on their MINI.

Put me on the list for one large. I need a new cling also when you get the chance or we see each other again.

The reason for wearing long sleeve shirts in racing or auto-cross is in case of fire, the shirt is the only thing between the fire and bare skin. It isn't much and Nomex would work better, but that is also pretty expensive.
