Nah, no need - the air doesn't get much fresher than in the mountains! Besides, I said I wouldn't shave... doesn't mean I won't shower. Mind you, we're all going to get wet anyway.

 

Dont forget I will have my MINI as well! I still plan on coming to the movie night at your place on friday.

I figured it would be easier and less motoring for me to crash at your place, if that is still ok. If possible I wouldnt mind riding with someone, instead of taking my MINI, but we will have to see how many are there.

 

Most definitely! I hope you like watermelon martinis. Just to be on the safe side you may want to bring a pillow and blanket/sleeping bag just in case I run out.

 

Alcohol is good....Just got back from Union Jacks where I ordered a Bass and some cheesesticks in celebration of the new job.

For those who have not met me and they want to know who to look for: I am 5'5" with shoulder length red hair and I enjoy long walks on the beach ... heehee! I will be most likely sporting pink shorts with a pink/black/white tank top. You will know me by my ghastly white legs ... sorry, that is not a joke.

 

My legs may be just as white. The funny part is that I have some good color on my arms and shoulders since every weekend I'm riding around in Becker (that's my MINI) with the top down, but my legs get very little or no exposure . Oh well, what are ya gonna do?

I hope you are all pumped and ready for our day on the river tomorrow. Please plan to arrive at Butt’s no later than 11:00 a.m. We have a large group (50+) tomorrow and I would hate to leave anyone behind. If you would like to caravan we will be leaving my house in Reston at 9:30 a.m. sharp.

To save time please fill out the Butts release form before arriving. The release form can be found at http://www.buttstubes.com/ReleaseFormBTI.htm. Once you have paid your fees we will meet in front of the Little Country Store before being fitted for our life vests and getting on the bus.

Following our fun on the river we will be heading to “The Pub” for food and cheer. I have printed out maps and directions for everyone so please remember to pick up a green flyer from me.

We're not doing a 'run' so far as I know, I'm bringing company, and it's a long drive... So I'll be bringing my F150, so people can be comfortable as they pass out after tubing & stuffing their guts. :P

No AC in the Mini still either. Thanks Tate. Not.

 

Thanks for the invite. My friends and I had a great time on the river, although there were no Mini's around by the time we got back to Butt's Tubes for lunch.

 

My legs turned steamed lobster colored.
I also got my nasty knee injury taken care of now.
Had alot of fun otherwise though.
Don't mind me if I sorta wandered off at times either. I get a little absent minded.

Thanks for setting that up - I had a great time, as did many others, I think.

Will, you guys must have gotten way behind, because we took our time and even waited a good 10 or 15 minutes at the beach, but even then we couldn't see anyone we knew from that vantage point, so we rode the bus back... then headed to "The Pub" (designated lunch place).

Sorry you guys missed out on lunch afterwards - you could have called my cell after you returned!
