ok, heres the deal... My best friend is having her thirtieth birthday parties on both Saturday AND sunday. One being hosted by friends around 4 pm on saturday... one being hosted by her parents around five on Sunday. (if we are planning anything at Union Jacks on sunday, I can come later in the evening)

I rode the run with Edge last year when we went by ourselves and I know that part of the run is on the same road as the party location, just after the stop at the battlefield. Any ideas on what time we will be doing the run? and at what time would we be making the lunch stop? I am trying to cooridinate both since so far it sounds like the 20th is the better day. MINInurse HAS to go so that she can take videos!!

After all... my friends birthday IS important... but I also want to motor!!!

uh huh...we were going to go black all around. Well...NOT now!! It just doesn't work well with the dragon.

I think I am going to bring a fellow MINI owner from work with me. I really want her to see what she is missing by not being in the club and she is off that day. So the sooner we have details about times and stuff the better..

Ssallykat...I will bring the camera. Jay will be driving. I have to work the 19th so I am going to be a ZOMBIE!! There will be toothpicks in my eyelids keeping them open, but as long as I don't annoy Jay, I can video. I haven't had a chance to look at the one from MOTD yet, I will today though...had to work last night...that was tough...i need a vacation from my vacation..

In addition to this I am working on getting a price for a cling for this event .... so my question is do you all want a cling... I think the price would be no more than about $5.00 each, I am getting quotes from cooperflags and kinko's. I will post back here when I get some idea about costs.

Ok Update: A little birdie told me that the DCMM club MAY be able to pay for the clings....I will keep you informed !! (I know .... I am a double spy as I am a board member too).

Yes - I will still be here - kinda why I - behind the scenes - asked one of the members if a run could happen sometime in May as I'd love to enjoy some MINI time while here. I go back to CA on June 1.... I think I'm riding with Kurt as he lives near my hotel and it's easy for him to swing by and pick me up - but we're still working out those details... But you know I appreciate the offer.

I thought 3rd Saturday of the month is usually a breakfast at whatever dealer.

Anyway, I'll be at the drive. Last year we met up in the parking lot of the mall in Frederick. I think that's on the route sheet. I remember meeting up with Jen, Paul, and someone else before hand for breakfast.

Yes Matt you are right it is usually the third Saturday of the month, but seeing that is going to be our B&B run, I did not talk to MoS about the breakfast instead we will do our B&B run. So as MoS did not have anything planned for us to turn up, and the weekend after that was a holiday then we thought we would drop the breakfast this month and have the kart event the following 3rd Sat of the month (17th June).

Ok I will count you in for the B&B run and yes maybe the Frederick mall for a late breaky would work... I will look in to it... thanks mate
