Freakin' people!! Sorry to hear about what happened. That's one of the reasons why I left northern VA - too many inconsiderate people. Anywho, I had a license plate stolen once and could only get another pair - they wouldn't send me just one. I'm not sure what they told you, but that was the deal back in '02. And they make you pay for 'em too!

Actually, one of the people who parks in the garage at my office has "PPL SUCK" (it might be "PPL SUK", I don't quite remember for sure)... which surprises me that they were permitted to get it.

MNEEME - my husband had a wind-up key on his VW Bug when he was younger. Unfortunately stupidity apparently runs on both sides of the border and his was constantly being torn off, stolen etc. I

He actually (ICEMAN here in NAMland if you want details ) somehow hooked up a wire that was nearly invisible to run around the key and it would give a good jolt to people who thought it would be funny to touch it. Never seems to amaze me how inconsiderate others are. I love when people look at Rex - but please hands off - it's like walking up and pinching the cheeks of your newborn! ARGG!!!

OMG Thats Great! I just might have to contact him!

Well I let the glue sit over night and one of the plugs doesn't turn. But the other one had no such luck. So I think I'm going to go with using bolts. Anyone have any other suggestions??

*sigh* And in our litigious society, you would probably find yourself smacked with a lawsuit, a la "I broke into your house and slipped on your stairs while trying to carry your personal computer to steal it, so I am going to sue you for medical costs and pain and suffering".

But still, it's a nice image to keep in mind!!

It's my car, it's my personal property, I don't mind you looking, but please don't touch! I've had people try to open my car doors before when they were checking out my MINI and they didn't know that I was looking out the shop window! When I got my car detailed, they told me that they always have to keep one person as a lookout since they have some very expensive cars roll through. They said that people lean over the cars and scratch them with their belts and jeans while trying to look inside, etc.
