Yup.. found a good guy that took out my hood ding. His name is Alan Moorefield from Dent Clinic - 703-378.8885 - he met me over at Currys in Dulles.

Also, 12 more fricking miles until my car is finally broken in! I think I'm going to take a quick spin just so I can say "it's finally broken in!"

 

I was sooooo hoping the get over the break-in period last night... Steve should have taken the longer way home....

Is your repair guy in VA? do I have to drive to VA? I hate driving in VA need to find sombody in another state... maybe the people advertising in the Towson Night T-shirt?

CONGRATS Krut/Kurt... nice to hear it's broken in... enjoy the smooth rush... more like a WHOOSH feeling... that's what I love about my JCW, smooth as butter.

 

Weren't you at the Towson night last year? The Dent Wizard guy guy did a demo. The only bad part was when he took a mallet to the side of a MINI and created a ding. When the actual tech guy was done you couldn't even tell there used to be a dent.

 

How much that fix cost you?

You going to send Tate the bill? I would.

 

I talked to Rick the GM this morning told him what happened. He said he would try and get it reimbursed. Also, when Carolyn sent me my paperwork - here's what it said on page three -

I bitched at Rick for two things -

1. When have I ever brought back a loaner car with with less than 3/4 of a tank? Never.
2. Is this a proper way to treat a customer that has purchased FIVE cars from said dealership.....

He indicated he would talk to Carolyn about why this was on my work order.

 

One of the great ironic benefits from these episodes is when we can find an excellent repair shop in case of future mishaps. Helps one sleep a little bit better at night. Congrats on the repairs!!!

You cheappooo !! The last time I took the loaner it must have been after you used it, had less than a 1/4 and I barely made to DC. Will at that time apolized for that, but still. When I brough it back I put half a tank (in error) well they must clean my dog hair, anyway.
