Balto/Wash Imports BBQ (March 25th)
While this is not a DCMM event, it would be fun to make our own statement that "MINIs are Import too".. from UK, not Japan. The current registration list for this picnic seems to include "Fast'nFurious"-style rides from MD/VA/DC/DE/PA; everything from Scions to Ferraris, maybe a rare Skyline GTR. 
I'd love to see some club representation, maybe we can swing some of these guys from NOS-blown NEONs towards MCS or JCW.

Time: 4 PM

Since this is going to be a much bigger meet than originally anticipated, we must front a lot of the money for food, drinks, and the Park rental fees without any idea who really is serious about showing. All indications are that a lot of people will make it, however, if we buy food and drink anticipating a huge crowd and only half show up, we are stuck with the bill.
I am also thinking of getting a few trophies out of the goodness of my heart for different categories to make it a car show atmosphere. There is a trophy shop by my house, so I'll get more information and costs. If we can get this done by March 25th, then I will definitely get them
Here are the catagories I was thinking:
Best of Imports
Best of Domestics
Best Performance
Best System
Best Paint/Body Work
In addition to the Best of awards:
1st-3rd places for Imports (1990-1997)
1st-3rd places for Imports (1998-2006)
1st-3rd places for Domestics (1990-1997)
1st-3rd places for Domestics (1998-2006)
We will have 3-4 judges.
Food and Drink:
We will buy whatever we can afford, anything anyone else brings will be added to the group.
I know there was a post about paying online some may be weary of this. If you'd like, you can send your $10 for park rental and food to the followng:
