Yes, three is a charm !!
The old top never closed well aftet I used once as sunroof and according to Will there were two or three small holes as well.
MINI is recalling all tops (I think 2005 maybe 2006) for wear discoloration but not everyone needs a replacement. Stellina (James' MINI) had her top adjusted w/o the need of a new one.
