OT: Any wedding photographers in the group?

Starting the quest for a talented photography who will work within our budget. The wedding is pretty far out (3/11/07) and is in Laurel, MD.

Any DCMM members wedding photographers? If so, PM with some contact info and maybe some portfolio shots. Or if anyone else out of the area is willing to travel (while remaining affordable) let me know. Of course I am planning some pics with Minerva.

Thanks!

Too bad we aren't still living back there - Mike is a Professional Photographer. However, the only weddings he did were for friends and if we were there, I'm sure he would throw his name in the hat for you...

Congrats to you and your groom to be...

LOL Donna... that's groom to be for sagworks. The funniest part? Since you yourself are a woman, sexism wasn't the problem... or was it? Just messing around, heh.

wedding photographer

I do know someone who does photography on the side. If you want I can see if he has your day open, or just give him your contact info.

Thanks evryone for the names, offers, and well wishes. No offense taken, for some reason most people on the forum (who have not met me) assume I am a guy. Not real sure why though...

Keep the names of people coming We'll be really needing to go through everything and make a decsion soon (Wagnbat you are on the list now).

I am keeping a sidelist of wedding crashers too

I'd be willing if you can't find anybody. I have some photos of my cousins wedding. Not the greatest cause the actual photographer they hired pushed in front of me along with everyone else. I'd be willing to email you a couple. Just let me know!

Edit: Oh Yea the photographer they hired also had an amazingly bright flash which def. overwhelmed some of my photos. Oh Well...
