MoS customers: a new favorite exit ramp...
Hey guys,
Those of you who are customers of MINI of Sterling, and therefore visit there more frequently than the rest of DCMM...
I think I have a new favorite exit ramp... it's a brand new left exit ramp from Route 28N towards Pacific Blvd - a wide left sweeper that takes you up and over the other side of 28, then back down again.
Now, I won't post the actual speed that I achieved on this exit ramp, due to NAM rules, but I will say that is one awesome exit. It will make every visit to MoS THAT much more fun... provided, of course, I'm not stuck behind some slow SUV or something.
The exit ramp really makes me wonder if the MINI crew at MoS had something to do with the design, sort of a reminder of why you're visiting MoS in the first place.

'bout time that ramp got finished...
But just remember that interchange caused the death of one of Sterling's loaded MCSs with the SX performance package... and cost one of Sterling's MA's their job...

Yeah yeah, I could get nitrous... but that isn't OEM.

I may have been influenced to drive faster these days, but not nearly as fast as certain people, who shall remain nameless...

MoS and navigation system
If you have updated your Nav software to v.26 and you enter MoS address you will never get there. It shows the checkered flag but won't lead you to the location.
I find this highly amusing.
BTW If you have Fidelity Tire Insurance - don't use your club discount for replacement tires and rims - Fidelity will claim the discount as theirs.
Please send my DCMM renewal notice to Fidelity

I drove it the other day it was nice. I didn't know they had completed it so I had the pleasure of switching from the far right lane over to the left in the .1 mile before the ramp. Unfortunately, I was in my 91 Range Rover so the ramp speed was rather tame.
Not to hijack, but related for you Marylanders: Arundel Mills Blvd from 295 is niiiice. I like it northbound a bit better, because you have the loooong right sweeper. Coming southbound is fun because you have to clear two roundabouts.
