Mike and I are also working out an equitable resolution. Like I said, he is a real nice guy, and it is obvious that customer satisfaction is important to him.

Everything works out in the end. In some ways I'm glad this thread came up to give me an opportunity to show my strengths and things that need to be worked on for my business.

This is only the first couple of many install parties to come. The more I learn from these experiences the better it will be for my business and for you as my customers in the future.

Stay tuned for the next install party.

Happy with mine, too. Mike needs to get better organized, but this, too, will come with time.

Kudos to Mike for a job well done.

Thanks for agreeing to do my custom graphic work for a great price and for making the trip to DC for the graphics install party. As for the folks who ran into snags, hopefully, things will get ironed out quickly and to everyone's satisfaction in the end. We need people like Mike to take on the challenges and to keep the large vendors on their toes. Let's keep thinking up cool new graphics and calling on folks like Mike at Aesthetic Creations to get the job done. That's my two cents.

And yes, those are new off-season wheels/tires on Max. I didn't want the 17" performance runflats to get roughed up in the winter. You likey?

Very simple look DCMitchell, I really like it. It works great with your car. But there's no gap unless you open the sunroof just a tadge!Lovely wheels as well.

I can't wait to have Mike install the custom graphics I've had "in the works" for 6 months for Malibu Stacy! He did fantastic work on my bro's '03MCS, which unfortunately did not receive the enjoyment it should have because the MINI was totaled a week later.

Just a quick update. Mike and I have worked out the remaining issues. Mike, thanks for the customer support.

Monday night I received the one missing graphic - Imperial logos - and applied them very easily yesterday in a free parking garage. It was raining and I couldn't wait to get them on the car and the garage provided the cover I needed. Mike is now making the roof piece for me to apply to the small white part on top of the boot. This will complete the roof graphic. Once that is applied I will make photographs of the finished Red 5 and post for all to see.

The Son(roof) of Man?

Thanks for the shout-out on "mind the gap." I'm really happy with the results. Like the Mini, simple design is good design. Oh, and it doesn't hurt to be a little cheeky where the Mini is concerned.

That being said, your Magritte sunroof is totally surreal. It must look great on your BRG MCS. I'd like to see it in person sometime.

I can't believe I missed "The Son(roof) of Man"!! I've always settled for calling it Surreal Brittania.

I figure there is nothing more British than a French surrealist.

The saga of Red 5 continues

Sorry folks,
It's now one month from the day of the install and there are no photos yet of Red 5. There are still issues with the roof that Mike and I are working out. Argh.

Greetings,

Mike has offered to reprint my entire roof graphic sized for my '05 MC. This will take care of all issues. He is going to ship it to me and I am going to have it installed here in Maryland. The closest Mike will be to me is Georgia and that's not until January (and we all know what the weather is like around here in January). I can't be driving down to Georgia and back in two days and risking January weather.

Mike has put forth a lot of effort to make me happy and I appreciate it. You can't beat him for customer service . I look forward to receiving the new roof piece and getting it installed. THEN photos will appear!

MTFBWY,

All good in the end

Hi DCMM friends,

Mike at Aesthetic Creations provided excellent customer service and went to great lengths to resolve the issues with the original roof graphic.

The end result was that he re-made the entire roof graphic. This means the graphic will fit exactly and the problems around the antenna and along the top of the boot will be gone once the new graphic is applied in January. However, I have taken current photos of the entire car, including the roof, and have posted them in this thread. Check em out and may the Force be with you.

Peace,
--Will
