not sure. i have a lot of work to do. although my new camera is coming in today, so there is some incentive to get out there and take some.

and i would like to get my ice packs, cutting board, and radio back from the last bbq.

not sure....if i do show up, i will try and bring something interesting......but i dont want to commit to something without knowing for sure.

I talked to Rick today and here's the scoop on where to come and park. It will be on the other side of the building of where we all normally park. The curbs there have MINI SERVICE ONLY stencilled on them, but we can park there. That's 5 or 6 spaces. There's other parking available as well.
I have a long fold up table , cardtable, a canopy and I'm getting there "early"....11ish. So all that will be set up.
Does anyone know where the banners are?..I'd like to hang at least one of them tomorrow. Mark M., are they at your house? If so, could you ring them, please? Thanks.

The only 'banner' I've got is the black MINI flag I bought off Ebay that was hanging on my garage at my cook out... I don't think that's what you mean though.

A really BIG thank you to all who donated to the Von Paris fund...we raised $225!! I can't wait to give them the cash on Monday....they really need it. Thanks again!

 

I had a great time I stuck around till about 5:45 and there were folks still there when I left.

 

Yeah, we were all just sitting around talking. I headed out ~6 or so and I think everyone else did too.

 

I blame all my wrong answers on Cooper the dog.

 

I thought the quiz was a lot of fun too. We should do that again at another event. James will need to come up with even harder questions!

Well, all she has to do is sell the truck, and settle for a Mini which costs the same as her truck did (~ 23k). She knows this though, and keeps changing her mind.

On to better news though. After tinkering with the roads & rails 2 images, I've learned how to batch edit color, resize, upload, and post images into my gallery. Yay Photoshop & Coppermine!

Almost 80 pics of the BBQ uploaded today. I didn't edit out any license plates, so if someone wants me to, or to remove a pic, just let me know.

well, i finally got around to posting the BBQ pictures....nothing great, still figuring out this whole camera thing. I have taken a few shots of non-mini stuff that I have found to be incredible, I am pretty sure it was shear dumb luck.

I was also playing with adobe on a few of the pics....nothing worth noting, a couple might make a nice computer background.
