WOOHOO - I am DEFINITELY coming now... there was some doubt since I didn't have permission yet from Brownie's owner to bring him to the picnic... but I found a good time to ask today, and got the OK.

As for what I'll bring, I'll jump in with "Chips, dip and soda" before any more people do... since I'm sure that we'll still need more, even after CmdrVimes and mdsbrain.

Hey now. I know how to cook/make shi...stuff. So I'm actually making something interesting again. I feel the need to do things out of the ordinary with picnics and potlucks because normal is boring.

I hope this turns out to be a good turnout. If things are like how they've been lately @ the dealer they have very few cars for sale so there will be plenty of parking. Also a empty showroom.

Sloppy joes maybe?

I'll go send the rsvp to the events email...

I'll be there for a bit at least. Heading to PA again this weekend but I'll come by the BBQ for a couple hours first.

I can confirm that I will be there now. What do you need me to bring - a table, the grill, my massive ice chest again? I usually bring the veggie platter thing but I expect everyone is getting sick of it!

That being said, I might be a little late- about 12:30 to 1:00 pm.

Ok...Jen's bringing a veggie plate, Haemish and Tom are bringing chips, Marina..a salad, me..a cheese/artichoke hors d'oevre, Mark..sloppy joes.
We have no paper products, burgers/hotdogs or buns and no beverages.
C'mon folks..let's get organised here. It shouldn't be up to one person to supply all this, so step up and declare! The event is day after tomorrow!!

We need someone to bring paper goods(paper plates, napkins, plastic flatware, cups), which should include garbage bags. Someone else to bring beverages and ice. Does anyone even want burgers and/or hotdogs?

So who's bringing the drinks?

Also, I will bring sodas too, in addition to chips & dip, and one very friendly doggie.

Uhh. I'm confused...

I said I'd bring sloppy joes 'cause post #1 says" Food: We'll bring the BBQ, burgers, condiments, ice and some sodas."

SO I thought those were covered, I can bring burgers and dogs if needed instead... sure a heck of a lot easier, especially since I'm doing this stop en route to PA...

Shall I bring burger brats and dogs instead?

Nope! I'm picking up the BBQables, condiments, a couple cases of soda, and othersuch and bringing them along.

And Jen, it would be very appreciated if you could bring your lil' grill and gi-normous ice chest again! I'll bring along about 6 bags of ice for it. Is that enough?

And for the rest, I've updated the first post with the RSVPs and what they're bringing. Please email, post here, or PM me if there's any omissions, additions, or mistakes!

-Paul!

NOW ya tell us...sheesh. I'm bangin' around like a pinball, cracking the whip....and you got it covered already. Sheeesshh. Sorry, all.

[QOUTE=Edge] Katie, I think you missed one of the posts...

Nope son, I didn't. The difference between "I could" and "I will" is ...well....
non-comittal.
Now, Paul's got it covered...so Will, maybe bring a dessert?

OK, I'll shut up now.

P,S. I'll bring a small grill and charcoal.

Too Late?

I told Katie that I was going to the BBQ, but I must have forgot to pass it on to Paul, as my name is not on the list. Is it okay for me and a friend to attend?

Quiz Time

GET READY FOR THE QUIZ!

That's right, we'll be administering a POP QUIZ to test your MINI knowledge!

There will be cool prizes and an opportunity to display your knowledge of all thing MINI!

It costs a dollar to enter the contest, so bring a dollar, a pencil, and your brain -- some of the questions are easy, some are pretty hard!

AND -- as if all that weren't enough -- there will be a fun chance to even the odds. You gotta see it to believe it!

How about some fresh fruit, watermelon and such? I'd make a fruit salad, but making for twenty or so means fruit salad for weeks.

'Sides, if I bring y'all bananas, apples and such, then folks can just grab one for the way home. Hey, they come in their own wrappers! Cool!

Oh yeah, if I don't get any honest suggestions, I'm bringing Durien.

Discuss!

Diesel fruit? Hmmm..probably all I can afford, since the gas-powered fruit is simply too expensive these days..

Yer gonna be at this one? I'm awfully fond of your ice packs (broke my elbow at the end of July), but want you to get your cutting board and goodies back.

Cheers,
Matthew Z
