I picked up my new MINI today at MoS. Relatively easy experience besides them trying to sell me all sorts of extra things, but it wasn't high pressure, just lots of fluff at inflated prices. I got my DCMM 10% discount an some accessories, so the membership already paid for itself...floor mats, my AUX inut and installation, and the boot box was already on sale so I didn't get a discount on top of that. I think I have about 90 miles on it already. :-) Lots of fun to drive.

Nope, no bonnet stripe. And the car was just delivered to MoS on Wednesday so you didn't see it there last weekend. I think SB is getting pretty popular though.

 

Yeh, I was kinda hoping it wouldn't get TOO popular, but on the bright side, this will be the only year that it's available, so in the grand scheme, it'll still be rare.

just wanted to say Hi. Me and the Tpot will try to make it Saturday for breakfast, but it just depends on how I feel
I'm going to search around to find out if you've got a profile section for me to fill out...or did I already to that?
I'm looking forward to actually meeting some other miniowners. We really need to do something about the % of wavers in the dc area btw.

Although I'm on my second MINI, and I've been a member down here in the Hampton Roads area for a couple of years, I found out that I will be transferred up north into y'all's back yard.

By January I should be working at Ft. Meade. Joined up today and spent the weekend wondering if I could ever afford to live up there....

Hey guys,

I should be a new mini owner in the next week or so I think I found the car at Mini of Charelston so I guess I'll be taking Amtrak down to pick it up and driving him back here. I'll have to join the club after that. Can't wait to meet some other Mini Owners. Although I can't believe I missed the Dragon by two weeks Now I have to wait another 50 to go!

 

Well you sure did miss a good Dragon, but you are right only 51 weeks to go and counting for MOTD 2K7 .... looking forward to it too.
