I would highly encourage anyone who is the remotely interested in autocross/solo 2 to sign up. Brian Garfields classes will put you through your paces and will help you explore the limits of your MINI and your driving in a safe and controlled environment. The best part is these classes are a great value for the $$$$. Of course there is the down side to taking these classes, you will want more, this is very addictive and you start to look the orange traffic cones differently.

One would not think that just spending a day driving around a course, typical run time of 33-34 seconds, on a little parking lot will tire you out, but you will sleep very soundly that evening.

If you would like to see what autocross/solo 2 is all about come out to the next SCCA event. It will be held at Fed Ex Field, in Landover, MD, on September 5th. The first car leaves the start line at about 9am and at about every 20-30 seconds there after. The local MINI's will run in the afternoon in heats 5 & 6. There is no charge for spectators, but if you are interested in watching I would suggest that you read the following from the WDCR-SCCA site.

Hope to see new faces on the 5th.
