I just saw this on CH.4 news. This homeowner who is also a Mortgage Broker is raffling off his $1,000,000. home for a $50 raffle ticket.

Actually, according to the rules, the house won't be sold for less than
$ 1,575,000.00 which is not not a bad deal for the seller (s).. and since there is a 99% refund of each ticket sold (in case the min. required tickets are not sold) the seller (s) doesn't have any out of pocket expenses..

I'm in if for no other reason than to be Dennis the Menace to Ed (aka, mr. wilson) should I get the home.

it's near the South River bridge...I've passed by it a lot as my dog groomer and dentist are both in Edgewater. I bet Ed's seen it a lot too.
House looks nice(that photo's shot in the back yard) but it's about 70 feet from Rte.2...noisy and busy...but close to everything at least.

 

Isn't there a large garage out back too?

 

Damn, a friend and I were considering moving to Edgewater, don't think we could afford it yet though. This is awesome, but I don't want to throw away $50.
