Obviously Alan (Scavenger) was joking. The photo was more for amusement since it is painted to look like the A-Team's van (except for the wing - thanks B.A.D.).

As for me wanting a Smart... for strictly "around the city" duty, sure (especially since you can park it perpendicular to the curb, anywhere)... but that's it. But... I don't live in the city!

Besides, no manual transmission? No thanks. ("automated" manual five-speed Transmission is not the same!)

I wouldn't even trade my Smart for that one

As for selling our Mini for a Smart in general, well yep, we done that already

I drove a smart a few months ago at the Tyson's dealer (after drooling on the Aston Martins). I thought it was fine, but I could not get past the awful transmission...

I was certainly kidding when I started the thread. I just thought the A-Team themed Smart was funny, and yeh, as someone pointed out, they forgot to paint the wing. I do think the Smart roadster is cool though, I first saw one when I was in England last year and thought, "Man, they should import that!". The Smart definitely has it's place, I've seen quite a few here in the DC area. of course, I see A LOT more MINIs!!
