WOW!
I had lunch there today and was totally impressed with the place. The outside of the building is deceptive... looks like a typical Wheaton dive. Inside, well, that's a wonderful surprise. Looks to be recently decorated and well done. Lunch buffet was not overwhelming, but enough selections of yummy Asian goodies to be quite satisfying and filling. Several veggie entrees and salads. Even 4 kinds of sushi. Highly recommended! Oh yeah, less than $10 per person.

Anyway, I just got notice that my grandmother is very ill and may not make it through the day, so my family and I are preparing to leave for NYC right now.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience. I was really looking forward to this.

Just to keep people up to date, my grandmother is still with us. Based on what the doc said last wednesday, we all thought she wasn't going to make it more than 24 hours. She has stabilized to a point, and now its a matter of taking it day by day. Thanks to everyone for being supportive and for all the kind messages.

So, barring any unforeseen events, I would like to reschedule this for next Tuesday, September 2nd. Same meeting time of 6:45pm. I hope the same crew hasn't given up on me and is willing to try again. Out of curiosity, did anybody go last Wednesday?

I'm not sure about next Wed, it's my better half birthday. I've arranged a surprise plan for her. (not at the shooting range for sure )

Same here, except I will be in and out of town starting today until 14th, so I might have to miss out on this.

I have a big meetings on Tuesday and Friday. I'll probably need a drink after Tuesday's meeting and not before Friday's meeting
