MCC Won't go into Gear

I have a 2005 MCC automatic....bought it used about a year ago.

Everything was great when we got it out of storage from winter (it's a weekend car) until about a month ago.

Increasingly over time, when you start the car and drop into gear (Reverse or Drive) it doesn't engage. When it first started, if you waited a second it would drop in. Lately its getting worse and taking longer. Once it goes into gear and you drive totally fine no issues.

I called Mini of Sterling and can't get an appointment until July 2nd.

I have 2 questions.

Anyone ever heard of this problem ?

Can you recommend a MoCo place I could take it to sooner than July 2nd ?

Thanks for any advice.

Try Mini of Towson. 99% of people praise their service department. Also do a search and post this same question in the made forums area. I know there are various threads on here about problems with automatic.
