booo...it was either this or the NASA/Smithsonian Folklife Festival in DC (at which a family member is speaking). my would-be navigator reminded me that us being in Frederick by 9am probably wouldn't happen anyway...
If that's the case, you might have to join the DCMM's Midnight Run instead.

Many thanks to MrMellowYellow and Hypnohealer for keeping me companies doing the dry run this afternoon.
We had a great time today.
I managed to keep everyone (all 3
) together throughout the route.
Here is the summary from today dry run, from scale 1 to 10 (10 is the highest, 1 is the lowest)

I'd like to comment on your ratings though.
First, there are only two or three roads that we'd rate a 4 for poor road condition. If you're not paying attention you can hit a major pothole but the speeds on these roads will be slow and so that shouldn't be a problem. All the remaining roads are a super smooth 9!
Second...Fun Factor of only a 7?! I'd give it at least a 9 3/4.
MINIs, friends, twisties, twisty friends (you know who you are
), Cozy, cherries....and only a 7?! I'd like to see what constitutes an 8, 9 or a 10 for you.
Glenn
Sorry, I will not now be able to make this - I just found out about a friends' passing and I will be out of town for the funeral -not nearly as much fun as you all will be having. Have a great time and see you all at the next one.
Happy motoring!
Happy motoring!
I just RSVPed... although getting up early for this (especially on a weekend) will be a challenge for me, I definitely would like to come, especially since I missed the last one.
Unfortunately though, I don't have a MINI to drive right now... but I do have something to drive that is decidedly sporty.
I'll be happy to be the "sweeper for the sweeper" at the tail end though!
It will be just me, no additional passengers.
