I find that I have a lot more fun when I have a co-pilot. Not only do you get to share the run with someone but they can help with the radio and navigation.

Just be prepared for a lot of screaming and back seat driving.

Well, you could just crank up Duran Duran and drown Bev out.

Ouch! I'm never going to live this one down.

You'll be happy to know that I've more or less kicked my habit after going to an 80's music rehab center. With intensive counceling I was able to shed my skinny tie and my Simon Le Bon haircut in just 8 weeks!

So far we have 22 MINIs.

This is going to be really fun. Please don't forget to have your name on the list.

Don't worry Glenn, we can hang and listen to DD, the snare drum recording on HLTW is quite impressive, very distinct and clear, exactly what you look for as an engineer. As for the fashion side, I flirted with that look in Jr. High but it never really caught on. Ended up more like these lads, my favorite band for a long time !

I wish I had the guts to post a picture of Simon Le Glenn. But alas, I'm not that brave.

In my defense....I was 11 years old and one of the first music videos I ever saw was DD's "Girls on Film". I was hooked from that point forward.

Yeah, yeah...I was brainwashed. That's my defense.

Argh. I really want to go since the start is minutes from where I live, but I can't do Sunday morning runs. If you do any test runs on another day please let me know so I can try to join you.

I'm still learning where the fun roads are around here, but I did find some nice twisties along this route: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=e...=UTF8&t=p&z=12

Here is a proposed optional route for advanced Mini drivers only, who crave a little more challenge and excitement in their runs. This route even features stops for golf, skeet shooting, swimming, bowling, and a pleasant lunch at the Aspen Lodge Please RSVP soon for seating might be limited.

Please keep your eyes open for the Entrance, as there are no signs, is obscured by dense forestation and can be easily missed. Here's is what the entrance will look like...

Since Chris already has an "in" with the management there I would think

that it should'nt be a problem for him to get a tour for 30 of his closest

friends! And a couple of those left hand turns sure look like high rpm,

2nd gear turns, W would love it
