What's the best way to remove black tire marks from the bonnet? I got stuck in a military convoy on I-81 one weekend and one hummer kicked up a piece of shredded truck tire that was on the road. I had no time to avoid it, I was just glad it didn't dent anything and it didn't take out my headlight. But it did leave nasty black marks.

Clay? Or just rub them out with a microfiber towel? Suggestions?
