Parking is usually pretty easy at that time in the AM. The block right in front of Mishas will be full, but there are generally spots within a block away.

I think theres a metered parking lot behind Misha's with entrance off of King Street, but I don't know if it fills up the evening before though.

Sounds like fun! And a good excuse to visit Trader Joe's to stock up on tasty wines for good prices

There is, but I have never parked there during the daytime because I can find free street parking. It tends to fill with people from the yoga studio that shares the building. Not sure how early.

Leave home at 7.30 in the morning and you'll be ok. Traffic is not that bad on Sat morning.

I'm sure it's not, but at 7:30AM, I'm usually asleep. If the next one is a little later and a little closer, I'll try to make that one..

I think I'm going to be trapped in my neighborhood by the street closures for the National Marathon! They are closing Connecticut and Columbia Rd between 7am and 9am, basically trapping us.

May be we can come up with an Saturday afternoon run, start around 3pm and finish by dinner at some nice cozy place at around 7pm.

Lets make this happen.

Small turnout but nice time this morning

Thanks to Larry (PlayPlay) at least one person from Virginia came, MaxiCooper and I came from Maryland, and Laura & Dave (GreenCactus) from DC. I was hoping to see some more Virginians

Somehow Virginia hasn't evolved into the 21st century, and the state still allows smoking in restaurants We made an expeditious retreat when some folks sitting next to us lit up. Hung out on the sidewalk petting peoples' puppies until we froze, and snuck back in to the non-smoking side of the shop. We eventually got a table and sat next to a really nice couple who were very interested in MINIs. We enticed them out into the lot to look at our cars, and I betcha they're going to visit Mini of Sterling this afternoon for a spirited test drive

Sure wish more folks had joined us. Maybe next time

I had a great time this morning. Thanks to those who dragged themselves out of bed! It was alot of fun meeting that couple. I would describe the woman as a natural Mini owner who just hasn't found her Mini, yet! I thought it was funny that she tried to recruit her friend who she bumped into in the parking lot

Here are a few photos:
