What's wrong with having it in the same place?

 

How does the idea of having the event on the Last Sunday of May, in each year, sound?

Location is up to the organizers of the particular years.

 

because we're trying to be "fair and balanced".

The thought was, find a place in VA to do a run and picnic, then alternate years. That's why we're asking the NOVAs to chime in.

 

That would be Memorial Day weekend.
Lots of traffic and competition with other commitments.

I think you guys nailed it with the first Sunday in June.

 

Yeah, you're right. I keep forgetting about that.

 

Yeah, I like the beginning of June as well. Just after Memorial Day, just after the Dragon, before everyone's crazy summer gets going.

Perfect, that's Carol's birthday.

Gifts should be limited in value to $15.

By the way, I went to a custom framer to have our "major award" framed. It will take 4 weeks and cost $136.00!

I know, it was one of the colors we considered when we started building our second MINI.

Actually, this car was my personal top choice for the Most Head Turning MINI! I didn't get to meet the owners but you guys did a terrific job! Beautiful car.
