So my Mini came with the standard white stripes on the bonnet but I think I want to change them to black in the viper style. Can anyone recommend or know of any shops in the MD, DC, or NOVA area that would be able to take on the job? I would usually do it myself and seldom seek outside assistance when it comes to cars but applying large stickers was never my forte. How much do you think install would be?

 

Had my checkered roof installed by a guy over in Whitemarsh, north of Baltimore. Pretty good drive for you but he's good and he's done lots of work on MINIs. He chared $120 to install full roof with a sunroof. I'm guessing your stripe would be considerably less.

For stripes, I've done all myself. It's not difficult. There's some good threads on the board here for DIY. They are stickied in the mod forum.

 

Same folks in Whitemarsh did my boot/bonnet stripes and the other MINIs sunroof graphic. Speedesign Graphics. Reasonable and they do good work.

Yes, Speed Design is a good shop..they did my original roof graphic and it's replacement.
