Since we've got some aviation buffs in DCMM, can anyone tell me what the two domes on the old terminal at Reagan National are? The look like small telescope observatory domes. I can't imagine telescopes there with the dirty air and light pollution but... It's been bugging me for years.

 

Went to the restoration facilty on a school trip with me son many years ago... before the opening of the Dulles facility.

 

me too, several times, I also interviewed for a possible internship/job there thanks to some strings pulled by friends. The redtape and politics are outrageous !

Speaking of sitting in planes, this is the Spit I got to sit in out in California thanks to a wonderful old chap who served with Thirty Two Squadron RAF. I felt like I could have gone out and flown it then and there ! What a natural fit !
