Assuming that I don't have to work and that anyone's interested, after the breakfast gathering I would be glad to lead another spirited run down the best twisties southern Anne Arundel County has to offer, ending up in Chesapeake Beach for Barbecue lunch at Smokey Joes. Alternative lunch locations also possible. It's up to you

I am SO in for that. I live like 10-15 minutes from Chesapeake Beach. pretty cool to see a (possible) run that close. Chase is close to there too, maybe he can make this one since he missed the yesterday's run. How bout it Chase?

Anyway, you have at least 2 MINIs for that run.

Love to have you all! I suspect the degree of spirit will be tempered by the number of folks we have joining us With a small group it's easier to drive those roads since the sight lines are so short. The longer the conga line, the safe and comfortable pace becomes a bit slower. Even though we always obey the posted speed limits < > we still want to be sure everyone gets through all the intersections and turns comfortably.

I will GLADLY host smaller groups just about anytime during the week, though, if anybody wants to get a taste of the route beforehand We could even finish with a wash and detail party at my house afterwards

How about, a test drive of the spirited run and to be followed by Indian food for lunch.

Yep, that's the place. Sadly, it's only a buffet for lunch
And, I have orchestra rehearsals every Thursday evening. Maybe another time, Marina

I'll be on my way to Baltimore in a pickup truck. (I'm helping a friend, she's buying a door). Have fun without me...

These roads are also fun in a pickup truck. A bit more challenging, perhaps, but still fun

I wasn't able to attend the last breakfast and haven't been to any yet. I'm curious as to what kind of breakfast stuff i should expect. Does DCMM provide it or the dealerships?

Someone mentioned doing a run before/after a breakfast - is that just an occasional thing or is that the norm?

Thanks!

Well, the breakfasts vary depending on the location. At the one at Tate 5 months ago, only 6 of us showed up I brought a box of doughnuts which nobody knew about since we didn't even hang out inside the dealership

The food at the other two dealerships usually consists of bagels, petite Madelines (if MaxiCooper comes), cookies, muffins, juices, and coffee. We bring pretty much everything ourselves, and it would be unlikely to expect Tate to offer to contribute anything (but hey, we can hope, can't we?) based on past experience. Please forgive me if I'm wrong on this one

Sometimes folks traveling more than a few miles will travel together to get to the breakfast, and we almost always have a club run (official or unofficial) afterwards. And food is always involved with the runs! I think it's in the bylaws, or something

Hope this helps! Come on out and join us for a great time!

It's NEVER too early for Indian food, Marina

But I think Chris intended that we drive first, THEN eat. I know I sure as heck don't want to make that run on a tummy full of Indian food

The windshield wipers only work on the OUTSIDE of the windshield

Morning run in the morning and finish with lunch is good. Then we can have all afternoon left to do something else (car wash party, more run, etc. )

Can't wait... can't wait. I sounds like fun already. "Indian Food Fanatic" run.

If I can figure a way past the 270 and 495 morning gridlock, I should be able to make it. See you guys Friday 9:30am.

I might be able to make it for lunch/detailing in the afternoon. Where is the restaurant and what time do you plan on being there?
