It was quiet at work today since the fed was off. So I took a long lunch, put the top down and went motoring. From Crystal City over to East and West Potomac parks, said goodbye to the Awakening statue. (They are to begin diggin him up Wed) Then over around the Tidal Basin. Finished up with a drive up back down the mall in front of the Smithsonians. I got it in while it was still sunny and in the high 60's.

Had the day off from work, but sure enjoyed having the sunroof open. Mmmmm, loved that fresh air.

Weather's going to suck again tomorrow.

OOH another TOPLESS day!!! Yippie!!! Rain possible late...60+ maybe even 70!! Now I just have to find the seat belt harness for the puppies and we are off!!!

Does the sunroof back and the windows down count as a partial topless ride? It was a great day for it. I still haven't convinced my SO that she needs a true topless MINI.

I was topless yesterday while flying down I-70 from Frederick to Baltimore.

Today... two sunroofs open.

Yep, dropped Dr Evil off at MoT yesterday and they gave me an R56 loaner. First time driving one. Love the turbo. Hate the interior. Miss going topless. But... I get Dr Evil back tomorrow with new front brakes and other goodies.

 

Yesterday was the first day topless with both Guinness and Kodie (my Lab and Shiba Inu) with me. I lashed their leashes to the seatbelts and off we went! They had a blast! Kodie of course loves the front seat since he is only 24lbs. Guinness wasn't as keen on the back seat since I had him teathered to both seatbelts, but he managed ok. He would sit up and rest his head on my shoulder. Then low and behold I look out my side view mirror and he is lounging with his head hanging out the back side like the doggie lounger he is! It was so cute. I had a couple of people comment on him in the traffic I was sitting in. But now I wonder if I need to get them doggie goggles...
