If the Mini Club wants to hold a clinic, CDC can probably set up a small clinic in the lower lot (that the course does not use), during the autocross then bring the clinic participants to the main course in heat 4.

Thank you Ed for the updated.

I'm sure there will be lots of MINI join the fun this year.

Btw, we might need more info on the track day @ Summit Point on 4/7, since there are quite a few of us interested.

And the clinic as well.

Please advise once the detail becomes available.

Thanks again and looking forward to see you soon.

We're still trying to reach Osbourn Park to discuss how to address the marks on the parking lot spaces (e.g. re-painting of the lines). With luck, we may add additional dates later.

Also, check the CDC web page www.capitaldrivingclub.com for the 2007 wrap-up lunch (handing out the 2007 trophies), introducing changes to the index system, and just a great opportunity to get together socially.

I think the lunch will be around February 23rd (we still need to finish the trophies).

I'd like to get out more this year, after my first time at the AndrewTech sponsored weekend. Suggestions for getting more involved? Join CDC and that makes it easier??

Below is the info from last year.

How much does it cost?
Capital Driving Club (CDC) event fees are as follows:
Auto-x events cost $25 for club members and $35 for non-members and guests.
Test & Tune events cost $35 for club members and $40 for non-members and guests.
Entry fees are payable in CASH at the registration table on the day of the event. Cash is preferred. However, if you absolutely must write a personal check, please make it payable to "Capital Drivng Club". Sorry, but we do not accept credit cards, Paypal, or any other form of payment or trade for event fees.

Membership fee is $25.

More detail please go to their FAQ Link.

I think I'll talk my wife into joining too, so she can drive in alternate heats. She's a better driver than me, having own a mid-90's Vette. She always spanks me at karting too.

Actually, spouses and family of club members also get the member rate and don't need to join the club (e.g. one membership is acceptable).

Since we are starting our season in Bowie, which can hold a much larger field, we will be accepting new members at the begining of the season. Typically, we only accept new members during only certain times during the year to ensure that members have a reasonable expectation to be able to attend the events.
