Hmmm,
I wonder what that could be.
Need to think of a good illness for my sick call.

Yeah - Mark recently added the smiley dropdown for Quick Reply and Quick Edit, on my request... but most of them are not working. Some of them still only work from "Advanced Mode".

I've been meaning to follow up with him again about that, I'll get to it.

Edit: I did some testing and it turns out that NONE of them other than "EEK!" are working from the dropdown... but if you click on "Show all Smilies" at the bottom of the dropdown, they work from there.

I've posted about this problem in the Moderator's forum, so hopefully we'll get some kind of resolution soon.

Even more reason to come to breakfast at MoT

I stopped into Towson today to check out the route for the ru.., ummm, I mean surprise and was talking with my MA Evan. He asked what the date was for breakfast and when I told him the 16th, he said " That's the debut of the Clubman."!

Should be a good crowd.

Each day that passes at work the more it looks to be that I won't make it. So far I'm confirmed 11th-15th, I doubt I would fly home for the weekend, they may need me another week, so that would be 18th-22nd. Then another contract needs me the 22nd-29th....soooooo, looks like February will be a bust

Its nice to be in demand but I'll miss my birthday and our 24th anniversary since we started dating (Wedding anniv. is August)

I'm thinking I might want to find a garage to put Wensleydale in until I get back. Three weeks sitting in the elements is tough, especially from the aerial bombardment.

I will be able to attend the breakfast. Sounds like it will be a lot of fun!!

Sorry you can't make it, Mike! You missed Katie's fantastic Holiday party, too. Why can't Leona drive Wensleydale while you're gone? Then you won't have to put him in a garage....

Can't wait for the "surprise" from Wolf617! Hey, when is that "re-run" going to be, anyway??

Christine

She hasn't learned to drive stick and I'm really picky. My brother is the only one other than the techs that's driven her. I know I'm waaaaayyyyy tooo cautious but I'm not sure how I'd deal with the feelings if someone else pranged her. In fact, I was thinking to ask my brother for the storage in his garage......but taking the keys Hah !

That's why I want to get her her own MINI !

If Leona's so inclined, I'd be happy to give her a lesson or 2 on my car. It wouldn't be the 1st time it's been involved in a stick shift lesson. I also live near a large parking lot that's virtually empty on the weekends, so it's perfect for lessons..Just a thought..

Mike, Here's hoping that they won't need you for another week ! You'll be sorely missed if you can't make it.

Thanks, I'm confirmed for the 22-29th so the tubing is out. Sorry about that but I'm real excited about this trip, new plane to fly and possibly a dinner with my good buddy who lives out there.

As for the 11th - 22nd, I have a feeling that they will need me for the two weeks and then I'll go from New Mexico over to Arizona.

Its tough when you love both work and play ! :impatient though I do miss Leona and my grizzled old basset hound "Flash"

Cheers,

Mike

Great news indeed.

This time instead of bringing Panera's bagels, I'll bring some "petite madeleines".
